The Role:

You’ll be working in one of the busiest, most dynamic parts of the company where the pace is fast and furious.  We’re looking for someone who can wear many hats, but at the same time staying grounded.  We need someone who can own things end to end and not be afraid to jump right in and contribute.  Responsibility is earned, but once you've proven your abilities, the amount of responsibility you own is up to you.  Be the voice of the fan and make the experience the best it can be.

In this role, you will be deeply involved in growing our Commerce Platform to power all new paradigms in live entertainment ticket sales.  Our Commerce Platform is a powerful suite of APIs that orchestrates sales across a variety of different inventory types and tailors the experience to many different clients and architectures.  You will be responsible for gathering requirements, contributing to strategic road maps and collaborating across many teams to drive our products to delivery.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product leadership to map new feature development back to a strategic product roadmap
  • Provide domain knowledge support to dev team(s) and other product/program managers
  • Provide day-to-day event support to dev teams(s) and troubleshoot production
  • Manage and verify releases, communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs and business objectives of internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist Product leads with data analysis, competitive analysis, and user research for new products
  • Gather, document, and track business requirements for new features
  • Develop feature specs and acceptance criteria for user stories that are completed comprehensively and on-time
  • Attend daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming and other collaborative project-related meetings
  • Develop and track metrics for success, ensuring the team is clear on their objectives every step of the way

Target Experience:

  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years product management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or CS Degree is a plus but not required.
  • Proficient in requirements definition, authoring epics, user stories and acceptance criteria within the Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Familiar with lean product management principles.
  • Prior experience in eCommerce a plus.
  • Understanding of the ticketing and/or live event industry a plus.
  • Ability build rapport with team members, peers, and external stakeholder
  • High level of accountability
  • Proven ownership and track record of successful products (and learnings from unsuccessful launches)
  • Get it done attitude – must be able to solve problems with minimal guidance or unclear requirements
  • Ability to understand the customer and see things from others’ point of view
  • Strong API and SoA knowledge
  • Analytical and strong business acumen – must be able to make decisions based on data
  • Ability to manage and set expectations internally and externally
  • Experience creating product stories, prioritize and maintain backlog, guide dev team through dev cycle for feature stories

Technical Skills:

  • Education or work experience programming a plus.
  • Experience working closely with engineering a plus.
