The Role:

You’ll be working in one of the busiest, most dynamic parts of the company where the pace is fast and furious.  We’re looking for someone who can wear many hats, but at the same time stay grounded.  We need someone who can own things end to end and not be afraid to jump right in and contribute.  Responsibility is earned, but once you’ve proven your abilities, the amount of responsibility you own is up to you.  Be the voice of the fan and make the experience the best it can be.

In this role, you will be driving the growth of our Supply Platform to power all new paradigms in live entertainment ticket sales.  Our Supply Platform explores the latest in streaming technology to push large volumes of inventory data to create dynamic experiences for fans everywhere.  You will be responsible for collaborating across teams to set a strategic roadmap that moves the needle for our company goals and long-term tech strategy.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business Segment leadership to create a strategic product roadmap
  • Drive innovation through new feature development mapped to company goals & KPIs
  • Provide domain knowledge support to dev team(s) and other product/program managers
  • Provide day-to-day event support to dev teams(s) and troubleshoot production
  • Manage and verify releases, communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs and business objectives of internal and external stakeholders
  • Gather, document, and track business requirements for new features
  • Develop feature specs and acceptance criteria for user stories that are completed comprehensively and on-time
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture & PMO partners for team success
  • Attend daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming and other collaborative project-related meetings
  • Develop and track metrics for success, ensuring the team is clear on their objectives every step of the way

Target Experience:

  • Ideal candidate will have 10+ years product management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or CS Degree is a plus but not required
  • Proficient in articulating a compelling vision, defining problems with cross-functional leads, and Agile/Scrum methodology including requirements definition, authoring epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Familiar with lean product management principles
  • Understanding of the ticketing and/or live event industry a plus
  • Ability to build rapport with team members, peers, and external stakeholders
  • High level of accountability
  • Proven ownership and track record of successful products (and learnings from unsuccessful launches)
  • Get it done attitude – must be able to solve problems with minimal guidance or unclear requirements
  • Ability to understand the customer and see things from others’ point of view
  • Prior experience in streaming technology a plus
  • Strong API and SOA knowledge
  • Analytical and strong business acumen – must be able to make decisions based on data
  • Ability to manage and set expectations internally and externally
  • Experience creating product stories, prioritize and maintain backlog, guide dev team through dev cycle for feature stories

Technical Skills:

  • Education or work experience programming a plus.
  • Experience working closely with engineering a plus.
