The role:

The LiveAnalytics group is looking for a Senior Analyst to help drive customer retention and acquisition for our clients in the sports, arts, family and concerts areas. LiveAnalytics provides data mining and modeling to help clients better understand and expand their client base. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for analyzing large volume of transactional and customer data using Teradata, SPSS Modeler and other tools. This person will work directly with both internal and external clients to improve the efficiency and ROI of both direct and digital marketing campaigns based on the custom models developed for each client. The ideal candidate is analytical and a problem solver with strong SQL and database skills. He/she is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and likes working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

What the job is:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for premium digital marketing campaigns for internal stakeholders and external clients, in conjunction with Email Marketing and Digital Ad team.
  • Manage marketing campaign projects, including define scope and requirements, collect documentation, and on onboard clients.
  • Work with internal and external agencies on project planning and campaign execution, including campaign tracking and monitoring.
  • Extract and upload data from a variety of internal and external data sources and systems.
  • Create and automate campaign performance and media attribution reports, measure and analyze KPI and campaign ROI.
  • Develop and maintain online dashboard summaries of data and campaign performance to facilitate learning and decision-making.
  • Perform post-campaign analysis, including customer segmentation and conversion performance, and provide recommendation for improvement.
  • Build PowerPoint presentations and Excel reports to summary results.
  • Present results to internal and external clients.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to capture generalizable insights using campaign response, consumer and transaction data.

What a qualified candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Math, Information Technology, Economics or related fields
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience writing SQL queries.  Have through understanding of relational database concepts
  • Experience working with SPSS Modeler, SAS or similar statistical package is a plus
  • Able to communicate complex analytics results and insights to less technical audience.
  • Strong understanding of all facets of Database Marketing
  • Extensive experience with PowerPoint and Excel functions and formulas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
