The Role:

We are looking for an experienced email & mobile marketing coordinator with proven skills in campaign development, management, and analysis to join our team at Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster, as the largest North American ticketing company, is the fifth largest e-commerce platform and has tremendous marketing assets, including a large customer database (nearly 100 M in the U.S.), a large set of recent investments in engagement marketing tools (particularly Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and a seasoned team of campaign managers that is highly devoted to helping fans discover the live events they love. We have an exciting set of challenges and opportunities to turn our purchasers into highly engaged, loyal repeat customers--by optimizing existing campaigns and building new compelling campaigns.

In particular, we are seeking a candidate with proven capabilities in both email & mobile marketing (via push and SMS Notifications), which will shift into the primary focus of the job responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize direct email marketing products by implementing targeting methods based on analyses of consumer behavior and campaign performance metrics; develop strategies to drive sales and engage fans throughout event lifecycles
  • Support email campaign delivery to complete audience segmentation, content aggregation, QA and deployment of custom live event campaigns
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) during integration with new tool to ensure all data points and capabilities are met; conduct smooth transition of push notifications from internal platform to SFMC, accounting for all possible risks to the database
  • Establish mobile marketing goals (push and SMS), that include test campaigns to drive engagement, and tickets sales
  • Collaborate with internal mobile product and mobile technical teams to launch campaigns and to stay apprised of new features that are important to our fans.
  • Report on marketing efforts via automated internal systems; create benchmarks for push messaging as new campaigns are launched; communicate all test results and learnings to internal marketing, mobile, product, and data analysis teams
  • Continually set up A/B tests to ensure copy, timing of message, frequency of message, and other factors are optimized; conduct clear and in depth analysis of performance metrics
  • Spearhead efforts to increase mobile app installs via other channels (email, web placement in user experience, and potentially social marketing, etc.)
  • Work with Social Media, Legal, and external teams to launch engaging campaigns, promotions and sweepstakes

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of prior email, mobile, and CRM marketing experience required
  • Experience with best practices for mobile push & SMS marketing
  • Experience with building customer journeys with Salesforce Marketing Cloud highly preferred
  • Experience with generating and analyzing reports in both Google Analytics & Omniture highly preferred
  • Quantitative skills, including comfort with Excel, data validation, reporting, analysis, and visualization
  • Creative skills in designing compelling messages and concepts
  • Appetite to grasp complex business requirements, and maintain attention to detail
