The Role:

Ticketmaster's Marketing team is seeking an intern for the Winter 2018 semester! The Digital Marketing Intern will gain hands on experience in live entertainment marketing and learn how to create marketing campaigns that drive results. This position will work closely with our Marketing Specialists and will learn best practices for content both on and in our email product suite. They will learn about our reporting tools and how we measure campaign success, and then how we share these results back with our clients.

This internship is unpaid but reimbursement for transit will be provided. The successful incumbent should be available from January to April 2018, and preferably for full-time hours (37.5 hours/week) but flexibility with scheduling is possible.


Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school majoring in Marketing (digital), Business, Communications, or related field (able to supply a letter from sponsor/administrator upon request).To be eligible for this internship, an internship or co-op must be a program requirement for your curriculum.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Learn content guidelines
  • Secure dates for marketing campaigns, and collect and submit client copy and images
  • Gain email best practice knowledge as well as experience in deploying email campaigns
  • Learn reporting tools and how to measure success by setting up and tracking client promotions
  • Gain real world experience by working with our Marketing team on day to day activities
  • Develop planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Other duties as assigned

What you need on your resume:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school majoring in Marketing (preferably digital marketing), Business, or Communications (able to supply a letter from sponsor/administrator upon request)
  • Detail oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks
  • A keen interest in digital marketing practices and principles
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and Photoshop
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn and absorb at a fast pace
  • Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks
  • Conducts him/herself in a professional manner at all times
  • Passion for music, sports, pop culture, arts & theater and/or family events
