The Role:

Ticketmaster is looking for a Client Marketing Manager to support a variety of Canadian clients. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is passionate about sports and entertainment, and can work both in a team and independently. Our world is characterized by clients with highly variable needs and periods of intense activity. Understanding these client needs, and then applying them to develop and implement strategic, customized, digital marketing plans is central to the Manager’s success. The Marketing Manager is responsive, flexible, results-driven, dynamic, highly collaborative and an excellent communicator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic, digital marketing plans for assigned accounts in Canada, with content and professional presentation consistent with our published templates and standards.
  • Manage campaigns to ensure all marketing plans are executed accurately and are effective; monitor and adjust activities as needed to deliver maximum results.
  • Track all your marketing activities at the client, market, regional and national level, and evaluate results from all campaigns; help the team draw conclusions about what approaches deliver the best results.
  • Be up to speed on all of Ticketmasters premium products and services.
  • Communicate effectively and frequently with both clients and internal account management team.

Required Skills:

  • Prior work experience in the entertainment industry; preferably in a sales or marketing function.
  • Robust knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies, and direct experience implementing B2C marketing campaigns using channels such as: Programmatic, SEM, Paid Social and Email.
  • Knowledge of our solutions and the ability to recommend process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Data analysis, and the ability to develop business intelligence and actionable recommendations from that analysis.
  • An aptitude for working with cross-functional teams and building consensus for your plans across varying levels of the organization.
  • Polished presentation skills, including the ability to clearly articulate the value of Ticketmaster’s marketing assets and services.
  • Effective, professional written and oral communication skills.
  • The dexterity to successfully manage, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Sports Marketing/Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience developing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns; experience in the sports and/or entertainment industry is required. Agency experience is an asset.
  • Proven ability to evaluate reports and data, identify trends and make effective tactical recommendations based on business intelligence.
  • Strong competence in Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of popular content management systems and web analytics tools (e.g., Omniture, GA) is a plus.
  • Ability to use Adobe Photoshop and a basic understanding of HTML are also a plus.
  • Up to 20% travel required.
