IT Support Specialist

Front Gate Tickets, Austin, TX

The country’s leading provider of Ticketing, Operations, RFID, and Marketing solutions to music festivals is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team. The IT Support Specialist position provides support and assistance for the daily technical needs of all Front Gate Tickets (FGT) employees and office locations. Responsibilities include optimizing workstations and network, inventory maintenance, and maintaining company assets. Experience with Mac and PC platforms, VoIP phone system, network administration, and software maintenance is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personable and timely support for all Front Gate Tickets offices
  • Maintain existing IT infrastructure and internet based phone system
  • Order, configure, deploy, and support all hardware and software for business and individual user needs
  • Execute all user access and operations during onboard and off-board of employees
  • Maintain office surveillance security system including cameras
  • Maintain overview and inventory of all current FGT hardware and software assets
  • Maintain FGT inventory of computer equipment and regularly report operational status
  • Document IT policies and processes
  • Assess FGT needs to provide recommendations and implementation of new technologies to enhance business needs
  • Other duties as needed and assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • At least 1 year of recent IT experience with demonstrated technical skills in: Mac and PC platforms, VoIP phone system, network administration, and software maintenance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or comparable formal technical training and certification preferred
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and has exceptional follow-through skills and a positive, friendly, patient approach
  • Good people skills to build solid relationships with professionals on all levels
  • Experience and comfort working in a dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with a sincere desire to help
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust the communication of complex technical concepts per specific audience
  • Able to analyze and solve complex computer related problems
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for extended periods of time
