Job Summary:

The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the Pharr Contact Center. This will be achieved through the development of local recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Human Resources Recruiter will play a critical role in sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates to ensure we are hiring the best possible talent.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Work with HR team and hiring managers on recruiting plans that keep a healthy pipeline of qualified applicants.
  • Focus on high quality hires that minimize early service turnover.
  • Work with hiring managers to create and/or edit job descriptions.
  • Responsible for scheduling interviews for the hiring managers.  
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Aid in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
  • Communicate with managers and employees to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Conduct prescreen and on-site interviews.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
  • Assist in writing and forwarding decline letters.
  • Assist in preparing and sending offer packages.
  • Stay current on recruiting trends including the use of social media in sourcing candidates.
  • Train and manage workflow of HR employees that assist in the overall recruiting process.
  • Perform other special projects as assigned.

Skills & Qualities Desired:

Candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented person with excellent communication skills.  Candidate must possess positive attitude.  The Recruiter must be able to perform in a fast-paced, multiple demand work environment and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

Education & Knowledge Desired: 

High school education or equivalent

Two or more years of Recruiting experience

Physical Requirements/Work Environment: 

Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks regularly throughout the day; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
