This team is transforming a core platform for live entertainment which currently is responsible for a large chunk of Ticketmaster’s annual revenue.  Today we sell tickets not only on but on partner e-commerce sites and the biggest social networks.  As we continue to grow we need outstanding senior to lead level engineers to help update this platform.

Potential projects include:  

  • Internal API servicing TM systems including our Commerce, Content Discovery and Mobile App APIs
  • Modernizing a high-volume mod_perl project to current standards (possibly Java micro services)
  • Understanding current needs and the best vehicles (existing or new) that will best serve those needs while being integrated into the existing Commerce Platform.


  • Computer Science Degree is plus
  • 8+ years Software Engineering/Development experience
  • Experience as Team Lead a plus
  • Experience with Apache Web Server ecosystems
  • Familiarity with Perl, Bash and Java
  • Previous work with Agile and Lean practices preferred
  • Passion for learning, collaborating and building
