The role:

We are looking for 6 energetic individuals for the busy spring and summer event season. Working with our Operations and Field IT teams on a contract basis, this role will assist in the coordination and execution of the ticketing and access control needs of our clients. This could be at live events and festivals, new venue installs or special projects across Canada. There will be a combination of in office preparation work and on-site support.

This position is available in; Vancouver, Winnipeg, Calgary, Toronto and Montréal!

What a qualified candidate should possess:

  • Technical background; degree/diploma in IT or related field, or related work experience
  • Well-versed in Microsoft products (particularly Word and Excel)
  • Client focused and strong service orientation, with related customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written), paired with a professional communication style; bilingualism considered an asset
  • Ticketing experience a strong asset, but training will be provided
  • Demonstrated degree of creativity and problem solving in customer, software and hardware issues resolution
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to successfully handle multiple, and at times, competing priorities
  • Reliable and dependable team player with ability to work independently and under little supervision
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various conditions; rain or shine, among large crowds, and in a loud environment
  • Must be able to travel as needed. 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a good driving record
    (Note: candidates may be required to provide an official Driver Record).
  • Passion for live events and desire to learn about the entertainment industry!

This position requires flexibility with scheduling; ability to accommodate evening and weekend on-call shifts, as dictated by the event calendar and departmental demands.
