The role:

Reporting to the VP & Senior Counsel of Ticketmaster, this role will be involved in drafting and reviewing contracts for the Technology, Product, Marketing, Analytics and Ticketing teams. Assisting with a variety of tasks related to commercial and licensing agreements including: updating and maintaining the contract forms, preparing initial drafts and revisions of contracts, amendments and other related documents under the supervision of an attorney.

What the job is:

  • Maintaining the contract filing database
  • Resolving legal inquiries from other company departments
  • Preparing business license applications and complete any required government/regulatory forms on behalf of the company
  • Other projects – legal research, reporting, and tracking information, and drafting correspondence

What a qualified candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and paralegal certificate preferred
  • 7+ year prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment
  • Experience in an entertainment or technology company with licensing or similar transactional legal work
  • MS Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with strong research, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and follow through to completion on multiple projects in ta timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to interact on a professional level with internal and external business partners
  • Excellent Communication (speaking, writing and listening skills)
