Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline is preferred
  • 1-4 years professional experience delivering working software
  • Solid grasp of common design patterns, data structures, testing, and best-practices
  • Expertise with DevOps methodologies and tools
  • Experience in relational and transactional databases and data modeling

Extra Credit For

  • Experience in eCommerce and high-volume transactional systems
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment
  • Experience with containers and AWS

Languages and Technologies

  • JavaScript and PHP (or equivalent) languages
  • SQL, including query and database optimization
  • *nix ecosystem, Nginx, Varnish, Memcache, Redis, MongoDB, Git
  • AngularJS, React, Local Storage, Grunt/Webpack/Bower


  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team
