Responsibilities:

  • Defines, develops, and implements quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans for both automation and manual testing.
  • Works directly with business analysts, product managers, and software engineers to understand system requirements, use cases, and performance considerations.
  • Ability to write, debug and maintain test scripts, test cases and automation frameworks – Selenium and Java 
  • Ability to understand and experience in testing web Services with SOAP UI.
  • Work with the support organization to ensure that root cause of any production issue is identified and mitigated against future occurrences.
  • Ability to write, debug and create automation scripts for Mobile Native apps using Appium.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in computer science, engineering or related discipline desired.
  • Minimum of 8 years hands on experience in developing regression and functional test plans, managing defects, and implementing stress/load/volume/automated testing of Windows Form and Internet (both web and SOA) applications.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks is required.
  • Experience with automated QA tools and methodologies like Selenium is required and Microsoft Visual Studio testing frameworks are desired.
  • Experience with Mobile native apps automation and functional testing.
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-operating system testing.
  • Experience with testing internationalization and localization Web or Windows Forms applications are desired.
  • Mobile browser and native apps experience is a plus.
  • Hands on experience using profiling tools with .NET based applications to identify potential application bottlenecks. Must have the desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process, product quality, and reliability.
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, project management skills a must. Must be extremely detail-oriented in regards to verbal and written documentation and communication.
