The Role:

Ticketmaster Canada is seeking individuals to fill the position of a Part-time Box Office Supervisor at various locations in and around Toronto. The candidate must be available to work the following dates:

  • June 16th and 30th 2018
  • July 1st and 7th 2018
  • August 5th and 6th 2018
  • September 2nd 2018

    These positions require flexibility with scheduling. These positions are part-time occasional based on event requirements; ability to accommodate days, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts. (Note: Shifts may change to meet business needs).

     

What you'll be doing: 

  • Supervise all aspects of selling tickets on the Ticketmaster system including the sale of tickets to the venue events
  • Prepare event sales information and seating configurations for Ticketmaster, Building Management and the Promoter as necessary
  • Co-ordinate and communicate of event-related information with clients
  • Supervise Box Office staff, ensure policy guidelines are met, and maintain a positive work environment
  • Resolve customer service issues relating to Box Office operations
  • Assist in float preparation, daily balancing/reconciling and deposits
  • Perform daily Box Office operations, on an as needed basis
  • Provide exemplary customer service in accordance with Ticketmaster’s standards
  • Answer the telephone, providing information and/or redirecting calls as necessary
  • Support the sales window at any time if lineup conditions or staffing levels require it
  • Monitor Ticket Stock control and associated policy enforcement
  • Provide support and assistance to the venue when required
  • Other Box Office duties as required by Box Office Management
     

What you need on your resume:

  • Basic foundation and understanding of event ticketing

  • Demonstrated personal computer skills with the Windows operating system are essential

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple competing demands

  • Perform duties in a professional manner at all times

  • Ability to work and thrive in diverse and non-traditional face paced environments

  • Highly motivated, and a proactive self-starter

  • Passion for music, sports, pop culture, arts & theatre and/or family events!
